Rob and Noel celebrated their elegant wedding on September 1st, 2019. The event took place on the water at the Eolia Mansion at Harkness Memorial State Park. They had wonderful help from the team over at Creative concepts by Lisa where they helped plan all their wedding dreams. They even brought their dream of having a drag queen at their wedding come to life. The overall theme of the wedding was a contemporary and country style. The couple went with a simple design of a three-tiered horizontal buttercream texture. The frosting is in our JCakes signature vanilla French buttercream. JCakes provided and placed the beautiful green, gray and purple toned fresh succulents as well as air plants. Fresh Succulents and air plants were placed in a partial cascade along the side of the cake. The couple chose our most popular flavor for all three tiers, the mixed berry mousse. Our mixed berry mousse consists of a white chocolate mousse base with strawberries and raspberries throughout the mousse. The whole day went perfectly the lovely couple and the guests had a wonderful time. We were very grateful that they chose us to make their wedding cake for such a special day in their lives.
